- Accumulator
- A bet that links multiple selections, with each winning amount rolled over into the next selection for a larger potential payout.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage, with the possibility of a push eliminated by using half‑goal lines.
- Bankroll Management
- The strategy of deciding how much money to set aside for betting and how to size each wager to avoid losing it all.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A bet on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- An option offered by a sportsbook to settle a bet early for a reduced payout, based on the current odds.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes of a match, such as a team winning or drawing.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that returns your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win if your chosen team wins.
- First Goal Scorer
- A wager on which player will score the first goal in the match.
- Futures
- A bet on an outcome that will be decided later, like which nation will win the World Cup.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that predicts the result of a match at both half‑time and full‑time, requiring both predictions to be correct.
- Hedge
- Placing a bet on the opposite side of an existing wager to reduce potential loss or lock in a profit.
- Juice
- The built-in commission that a sportsbook charges, included in the odds, often referred to as vig.
- Lay
- To bet against an outcome, typically used on a betting exchange where you take the role of the bookmaker.
- Line Movement
- The change in odds or point spread over time, often caused by betting volume or new information.
- Live Betting (In-Play)
- Betting on a match after it has started, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Money Flow
- The amount of money being wagered on a particular side, often used to gauge public sentiment and predict line shifts.
- Moneyline
- A bet where you pick which team will win the match outright, with odds reflecting the implied probability of each side.
- Odds

- Over/Under
